Post Occupation Audits

What it is

This is a highly qualitative research project, normally conducted through face-to-face interviews although discussion groups are often used to gather feedback from employees and other stakeholders.

Why it’s useful

When an occupier moves into a building, there is an opportunity to begin a dialogue that will be beneficial to both parties in building the relationship, enhancing understanding and making sure customer needs are being met. A post occupation audit creates a baseline from which incremental improvements can be measured and gathers valuable data on the occupier’s journey from first contact to the early weeks of occupation.
